Awesome. It has always boggled my mind that development can be held up by a NEPA challenge that doesn't even argue that there is a real environmental problem, but only argues that  the developer didn't study it enough or document it enough. Courts have de-facto created environmental regulations that far exceed the statue and prevent even green energy projects that are necessary to preserve the environment. It is good to see the court recognize the silliness of that approach.

If you have your voter registration card that your county Board of Elections sent you when you registered or last made a change, you can update your party on that card sign it and mail it back.  

You can also use the online DMV voter registration if you have a NC drivers license.  

Everyone living in NC should be checking their [voter record](https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/) now to see what party they are registered with ahead of the primary!  The voter registration deadline for the primary election is Friday, February 9.  This is also the last day to make changes to your party affiliation.

In a primary, voters affiliated with a political party may only vote their party’s ballot and may not vote in another party’s primary. For example, a registered Republican may only vote in the Republican Party primary. Unaffiliated voters may choose the Democratic, Libertarian, Republican, or nonpartisan ballot in a primary election. A nonpartisan ballot would only be available if there were a referendum item on the primary ballot.  The Green Party and the No Labels Party have not opened their primaries to unaffiliated voters.
